Quotes from the Nuggets forums - "Jazz on 27 to 3 run."

I predict a pretty bad season for them. Hayward or no (they are tons better with Hayward, obv) that is a dysfunctional team all Frankenstein'd together with parts that don't really fit. No defense, not enough offense, chemistry and depth to compensate.

Need them to make the playoffs, though. Don't give them another lottery pick.
Seriously, they have some very good young talent in Brown and Tatum. Add Kyrie, Horford and Hayward and that's a potent starting 5.

Soo good love to see them loss after selling out some of their best players. Hayward might be lucky he is injured so he doesn't have to be a part of this.

And if they had kept IT and Crowder then Hayward wouldn't be injured right now.

"The Jazz announcers are pretty good"

Boler is HORRIBLE. About 3/4 of the way through the 3rd quarter, he announced Favors had scored all his points in the 4th quarter. Two moronic mistakes in the same sentence: not knowing what quarter it was and somehow not knowing Favors had scored in the 1st half. Bolerjack is an embarrassment. It's lucky he has a great voice - and a shame someone like Locke doesn't.

I was with you until the "great voice" comment. He aint got one.

Let's see, there's 82 games in a season... what's the over/under on the number of times that Boler will refer to Donovan as a "rookie" or a "rook"? A minimum of 10 times a ****ing game, so I'll set the o/u at 841.5

I can't believe they weren't mentioning Gobert/Mitchell/Lyles

There were a couple of off hand mentions of Gobert and Mitchell, but they really didn't talk about it much in the forums. I think it is too soon for them.

As for Lyles, I don't recall them saying much at all. Why they wanted him a trade is anyone's guess. Thankfully, they did take him and we got Mitchell. I can live with that trade!

Nuggets fans have used the acquisition of Jokic to completely repress the Gobert deal.

As a bonus, here are some Celtic fan quotes after their 2nd loss of the season to give them an 0-2 record.

At one point before July it looked like the Celtics might be able to field a team of IT, Bradley, Crowder, PG, and Hayward. Instead they have chucker Irving and a bunch of unproven young guys + scrubs. Almost feel bad for them. Almost.

Yet no real mention of Mitchell and Gobert originally being theirs... lots of suppression to keep that out of conscious awareness.

Just the way we like it. I was going to bring a sign to the game that said:

"Proposed Trade - Utah trades Gobert & Mitchell, Denver trades Lyles, Lydon, & $3 million"

But, I knew that advertising the obvious wouldn't help our cause. Who in their right mind would do that trade? Ha ha ha. This message is sponsored by the 'Utah Colorado Free Trade Association'.

I wonder if someone in Denver is doing the same thing using quotes from JazzFanz. Their fans would have gotten a kick out of the posting on our game thread during the first three quarters of the game. It was entertaining reading the day after.

And I also love these threads after the games. Thanks.

This Nuggets hype is just that, hype. They are not that good.

What? Just because we beat them doesnt mean they arent good.

They are going to stomp a lot of teams because no one is going to be able to guard them. They just have to play better D and get some PG production out of Murray and Mudiay.

With Mudiay and Murray, you don't even need to call it "PG production". Denver is cool because they're so inverted in terms of play-making. They are going to win a lot of games.
