What's new

Quotes from the Pacers' forums-"By 20? At home? To the Jazz?? I'm sorry. I got nothin'."

Seeing things like the Defensive Rating chart of Rudy's defensive impact bring back my feelings of anger about last years DPOY result.
As long as Rudy channels his anger into a surprising playoff run and 1st round upset against whoever they play. . . I’m okay with it.

Between that and Hayward jumping to Boston. . . he’s got two major snubs from this past year that will help fuel this raging fire at the end of the season.

Donovan is a better basketball player than Rose was. Rose's way of playing was being a lot more explosive than everyone else and taking a lot of contact. Sure, it was effective, but I said then and feel good about it in hindsight that I wasn't really impressed with his overall skill and that his game would not age well.

I would like Mitchell to get to the line more, but I'm happy he plays under control and doesn't depend on calls to produce. He really can only improve, which is nuts.

well...mitchell can get a bit out of control.

his off-season plan needs to be
1. work on his handle, tighten it up. do everything and anything to get that dribble right. It's good but he's prone to turning it over when pressure is applied. It's normal yes, but if he can tighten that handle up he's going to be insane.

If he can cut down on the turnovers he’ll be freaking unstoppable.

Pairing Mitchell with Oladipo would be a pretty badass backcourt.

Sure. But this is the equivalent of scraping out shortcomings given, you know, he may or may not be able to legally drink yet and is going to lead a playoff team in scoring and break the record for 3-pointers made by a rookie.
