Change the line to:

"I may be slow, but that just means your burger will take longer". Is it still funny? Or, does the humor come from the use of a negative act, making light of it?

No you do not. He was in no way being aggressive towards you. Nice attempt though. I do like that you singled out my posts instead of the 4-5 others that called you out as well.
 
I'm surprised you're singling out the rape comment and didn't jump on the thread title which clearly makes light of death. Real mature, UGLI (umm, tbcath, doe).

You mean, as opposed to fishonjazz's completely non-condescending remark?

Also, what "reverse psychology"? I fully expect fishonjazz won't respond directly, and will at most make a few off-hand comments to other people. As I said, most people don't like airing their brutal, unempathetic sides. Referring to it as a "parting shot" might be fair, though.

Let's get this puppy back on track.

I think, as candrew has also said, that the Jazz finish December at 7-27. That is a very respectable mark for two months into the season. jazz will still be in 1st at the end of the year.
 
If we come out of two months of a tough schedule at 7-27, that doesn't project for us to be in last by the end of the year, because the schedule eases in the next two months. Bottom 5, maybe.
