Not an overwhelming stat line in game 1...

13 minutes:
3pts, 2 rebs, 3 ast, 2 stl, 1 block, and 1 TO

Although, you have to be impressed with his poise in the post and especially the ability to set-up his teammates (3 fantastic assists - at one point, was the best passer in the game, even better than burke).

My favorite play was the baseline bounce pass to backdoor cutting Burks.

He's young (22), pretty legit size (6'11") and seems to have a great feel for the game.

What do you think of signing him as a back-up big man, he seems pretty capable to me.

Liked Mahalbasic too. Maybe he'll share more court time with Burke together the next time. If Burke trusts him, they can get some better ballmovement going. Judging now on whoever is premature.

that was one play... and throwing that to oop to an athletic Chris Roberts.

Also, Mahalbašić was showing great interior passing... tough to find nowadays. It will make our other bigs happy. :)

Depends upon roster spots. I liked him, but don't we already have 5 bigs, including Evans? I agree with Core4, we need to see more of him to judge.

That may be so, but what happens if Favors or Kanter were to go down for a substantial period of time??

I like what I saw out of Gobert today, but can we really trust him or Evans. I'm not even including Biedrins... he's a waste as far as I'm concerned.

Nothing wrong with a camp invite and perhaps a 2-year minimum-money type contract.
