Raja will not be with the team tonight... Is he being traded??

Raja's not being tradded. According to Brian T Smith, he and Corbin had an argument after the Philadelpia game. Nothing to see here.

I hate this Jazz team. I hate Harris walking the ball up the court. I hate Bell trying to be a tough guy, but awful on offense. I hate Howard trying to drive every time he touches the ball and taking a bad fall away shot. Im so sick of Millsap telling me how he is a leader and a hard worker and completely disappearing. I hate Jefferson taking a shot every time he touches the ball. I'm sick of Corbin playing those guys instead of the young uns. I am quickly losing interest in this steaming pile of mediocrity.

Interesting. I'm curious to what the argument was about, not that we'll ever know.

It would be even more interesting if Bell was campaigning for the younger guys to play.

Not necessarily. Bell has pride, but seems to be the young guys' corner more often than not.

Of course. I'm just speculating. For all I know, it could have been a fight over Burks getting too few of Bell's minutes! However, Bell bitched and moaned continuously at the start of the season for not getting "enough" minutes.

Have any actual details emerged as to what happened? Or is this mostly speculation?
It's the Jazz. Speculation is all were likely to get.

I believe the only known facts are that Bell was sent home for internal reasons.

Anything beyond that is speculation for now. And is likely to remain speculation.

The known fact is enough to want an already terrible player sent packing. At least IMO.

Pretty much all speculation. Only known information so far:

Bell got into a fight with Corbin after the Philly game, and he didn't fly back with the team. Corbin got very annoyed when asked about it, and said that he didn't want to talk about it. Bell's agent is not returning calls, and the management is having a meeting with Corbin and Bell soon (probably tomorrow).

Do we know they got in an argument? I have seen that on here but assumed it was also speculation.

Per Brian T Smith of the tribune:

Confrontation between Bell and Corbin — who've long had on-off relationship — appears to be at heart of "internal matter" that kept

Bell out vs. Chicago Bulls on Saturday. Bell was with Jazz late Friday after loss to Philly, then suddenly left team.

Jazz GM O'Connor said he wants to meet privately with Bell and Corbin to assess situation before moving forward. O'Connor spoke calmly ...

"I want to sit down with Raja and have a meeting with coach and Raja first," O'Connor said.

Cool. Thanks for the info. I would rep you but apparently I have done that already recently.

Obviously Raja was still upset Ty let Al and Big Turkey eat all the fried chicken in Charlotte.

Seriously, the apparent leadership void continues. This situation needs to be rectified asap - and if Raja's not going to provide a positive veteran presence, ship him out immediately or send him home permeantly.

This pretty much came out of no where. I would assume that our team morale was much lower at other points in the season.

Regardless, Id LOVE a late first rounder for Raja. Anyone know which teams could use a player like Raja for a playoff run?
