We read a lot of trade scenarios like giving up player X for the 3rd pick blablabla...

so where would you rank the actual Jazz players in this draft based on potential, strength, weaknesses and so on...

My list (really difficult):

1. Embiid
2. Wiggins
3. Parker
4. Favors
5. Exum
6. Kanter
7. Randle
8. Hayward
9. Smart
10. Vonleh
11. Gordon
12. Burks
13. Saric
14. McDermott

Burke: 15-25

Sure it is unfair to compare players who already passed couple of NBA seasons with colege players but are we over/undervalueing our players/this draft-class? Discuss:confused:

Your list looks pretty good. Nice job. I think a lot of GMs would have Vonleh #7 ahead of Randle, and they might have Gordon ahead of Smart.

So basically this draft is about equal to the other drafts in depth? hayward is still slotted around 9, burks at 12 where he was picked, favors near his actual 3 spot. Kanter the only one who slipped?

The way I think I would see it::

1. Embiid
2. Wiggins
3. Parker
4. Exum
5. Favors
6. Kanter
7. Gordon
8. Smart
9. Vonleh
10. Saric
11. Hayward
12. Burks
13. Randle
14. McDermott

Burke: 25-30 (then again, I see players like Miciic who are slotted around 36 being better than him).
Gobert: 28-38 (because it is still unknown wether he will add enough lower body strength and be able to catch the ball in the post, pass, shoot, etc.)

Based on what we know now?

1. Embiid
2. Wiggins
3. Randle
4. Favors
5. Smart
6. Burks
7. Hayward
8. Kanter
9. Saric
10. Gordon
11. Vonleh
12. Parker
13. Burke
14. McDermott

1)Burks

The rest don't matter.

Burks a number 1 SG NBA player.

£¥£

Come on uggs.... no one even put him in thier top 5 yet in this thread.

Chill bro

At first sight, it appears that way. But you also have to factor in that the Favors/Hayward and Kanter/Burks drafts had many busts in between where they were picked.

Now just think how many busts there will be in this draft.

So you rate Kanter and Favors ahead of Gordon, yet guarantee us Gordon will "beast out" in the NBA in another thread. Ok then...

No. In his only real experience, he was mediocre against HS kids. Why would I put him in the top 14 including five NBA players? That's crazy.

really? i saw him play a highschool game in its entirety and he DOMINATED

his line was 20 points, 15 assists, 6 rebounds 4 steals and 1 Block in the final game of a tournament

in that tournament he averaged 28.2ppg, 7.3 rebs, 6.6 asts... thats not mediocre

Not sure what tournament (2 games?) you're referring to, but...

Over the course of the U19 - sample size matters - he averaged 18, 4 and 4 on 44% FGs. That is indeed mediocre.
