What's new

Raptors at Jazz, 2/3/2014 7PM MT

we suck again because trey is sucking.

tank is on i guess. kid will get better. let him go through this rookie wall.

Ty will let him play through this bad stretch. Trey is lucky because Corbin hasn't really let any of the young guys do that. They usually get pulled from the game as soon as they make one mistake (even if Jefferson doesn't play D and Kanter has to try and stop his man as well as Jefferon's man).

Not fair to blame Corbin for Hayward's failure as the leader of the team. Hayward's consistency has always been his biggest downfall, that's not something a coach can control.

So Corbin didn't center the scoring load on Hayward as we all know that isn't his strength. Also Corbin put Hayward in a position to succeed. Right, akirac?

I know you are a hater when it comes to Hayward, but the truth is Ty put Hayward in this position and after he struggled and struggled he continue's to put him in that role to fail when there's this guy more suited for that role named Burks, and still has made no changes.

You need to be repped more often. Can someone help me out with this?

i personally dont know if trey is sucking.

he turned into a 5th option on a one option hayfense.

he does not get the opportunity to suck or not

Anybody think one reason for the slumps of Hayward and Burke is because Favors is out?

I seriously think the FO is trying to see different scenarios if they trade certain players with these injuries that last so long. But tank on my friends!

There is no denying that the jazz looked like a terribly coached team tonight. The schemes are busted. The offense looks choppy. Nothing fluid.

Hayward and Burke are miserable to watch right now.

Look like? I think that's a given.

So I was very mad about the game, but I wasn't going to vent here, because you guys all feel the same way. However, Ty's postgame interview got my blood boiling. On why he let Trey and Gordon play while having bad games, "You gotta let them battle through it because that's what you gotta do." Really are you kidding me. You have to balls to say that when you pulled Alec after 16 minutes against LAC and Kanter got 19 minutes toinght?

He lost his gonads when he became head coach.

Not a hater, just not a Hayward Kool-Aid drinker that has a million and one excuses as to why he's playing bad. I keep harping on his consistency issues because the guy has talent and can play well, it's just utterly frustrating wondering if he'll show up or not.

Corbin is not the problem when it comes to Hayward's consistency problems. When Hayward had less minutes during the Al-fense era, and wasn't asked to be "the man" he still had the same consistency problems. So all of a sudden it's now Corbin's fault? I don't buy that. Believe me, Corbin has ****ed a lot of things up for the Jazz, but I don't believe he's the reason for Hayward's consistency problems.

So when Hayward is averaging 27 ppg, 60% FG in January, Corbin should have been playing Hayward less? Nobody was complaining about the role Corbin was putting Hayward in then, but suddenly when Hayward's consistency problem rears it's ugly head again, now it's Corbin's fault. Can't have it both ways...

I know no one wants to think about this... But maybe this really is TreyBurke? For his first month no one scouted him. After catching the league's attention now he is actually being defended. Perhaps winning that rookie of the month award wasn't the best thing for him?

no.

its hayfense.

burke isnt even allowed to ball handle and distribute. It's all hayward doing the distribution and he has pretty much made burke a spot up shooter.
