So forget about the Ariza+#10 scenarios. Start the Ariza+#3 scenarios. LOL
 
Good trade for both teams. NO now has cap room to re-sign Kaman and Gordon. Wizards get a solid PF/C to play along side Nene and help with Nene's biggest weakness rebounding. That could be a nice twin tower scenerio for WW if they play it right.
 
So far I like the prospects of an NFL owner using his NFL team president to run an NBA team. Nice move by NOLA.
 
I like the direction Washington is headed in. They could end up being really good in a couple of years if they strike a gusher with that #3 pickaxe.

FWIW, I think this is going to be a wild offseason. The CBA is in place and the uncertainty has been removed from the NBA market. Most Gms are going to be aggressive tring to implement his plan.

Miami and OKC look to be standing at the top of their respective conferences and will for some time. This puts pressure on traditional powerhouses LAL and Boston who already have some major work to do. Dallas took a big step backwards last year and feel pressure to surround Dirk with talent. Spurs sputtered against OKC and are always aggressive. Up and coming LAC, and Indiana have young stars and options. Orlando and D-How are the biggest offseason mystery, Dwill and his not so secret love affair with Dallas or LAL will make things happen. ATL has proven Smith, Horford and Johnson can't get them over the top. Add in rebuilding Portland with Picks and cap room, NOLA with NFL managment, and Brooklyn trying to make a team out of nothing. and the draft is hyped as one of the deepest in years. Buckle up Boler, its going to be a wild ride.

PG: Wall
SG: Beal/Jordan Crawford
SF: Ariza/Singleton
PF: Okafor/Vesely
C: Nene/Brian Cook

Like MKG or not, Wall and he have been spending a lot of time together lately. I see MKG to WW... even if he isn't an apparent need.

Considering they play in the East I would say they will at least be in the playoff hunt late into the season. With the right breaks, they might even get that 8th seed. Considering where that team has been, that would be huge for their fans and their franchise.
 
Do you think the #10 just became more or less available? Is NOLA going complete youth movement or are they looking for a vet?

I think either Al or Paul would be a nice complement to Anthony Davis.
 
I agree, it costs them some money but I think if they hadn't made any of these moves they'd be in danger of losing the team.

It's very important to get some veterans in there with real work habits to show Wall, Vesely, and MKG/Beal how professionals in this league carry themselves.

A team involving Jordan Crawford, Wall, McGee, and Blatche is just asking for players to never reach their potential.

I disagree, I think they will get 7th-8th seed in the East. Wall has the potential to easily be a top 5 PG, Nene is one of the best centers in the game, pair him along with a defensive stud in Ariza and a rebounding machine in Okafor, that's a pretty good team. Not to mention if Beal turns into Eric Gordon. Vesely and Singleton played decent last year so I think they have a good amount of potential

I think the fact they traded for Ariza plus they have Singleton, makes MKG unlikely. Beal fits the team's needs more IMO.
