God would they be awful from 3 point land.
Good.
God would they be awful from 3 point land.
I think the fact they traded for Ariza plus they have Singleton, makes MKG unlikely. Beal fits the team's needs more IMO.
See OP. Partial guarantee for 13 Mill. Brilliant move by NOLA.
FWIW, I think this is going to be a wild offseason. The CBA is in place and the uncertainty has been removed from the NBA market. Most Gms are going to be aggressive tring to implement his plan.
Miami and OKC look to be standing at the top of their respective conferences and will for some time. This puts pressure on traditional powerhouses LAL and Boston who already have some major work to do. Dallas took a big step backwards last year and feel pressure to surround Dirk with talent. Spurs sputtered against OKC and are always aggressive. Up and coming LAC, and Indiana have young stars and options. Orlando and D-How are the biggest offseason mystery, Dwill and his not so secret love affair with Dallas or LAL will make things happen. ATL has proven Smith, Horford and Johnson can't get them over the top. Add in rebuilding Portland with Picks and cap room, NOLA with NFL managment, and Brooklyn trying to make a team out of nothing. and the draft is hyped as one of the deepest in years. Buckle up Boler, its going to be a wild ride.
Like MKG or not, Wall and he have been spending a lot of time together lately. I see MKG to WW... even if he isn't an apparent need.
A team involving Jordan Crawford, Wall, McGee, and Blatche is just asking for players to never reach their potential.
I'll probably get killed for saying this, but I wouldn't mind KOC picking up Lewis after he's bought out. Bell's as good as gone; CJ has hopefully chucked his last shot in a Jazz jersey, and if it were between Lewis and Howard, I'd want Lewis. With Raja/CJ/Howard out of the picture, we'd need another wing, and I definitely believe that Lewis is better than what he showed the past two years.
Remember when Kanter was begging his way into D.C.?
So you're saying MKG will end up on the Jazz?

That is an unhumorous take on that statement.
Fixed
So Freakazoid =Matt Harpring
does Margodydek = David Locke?
David Locke @Lockedonsports
Hornets will waive Rashard Lewis if trade is complete. He is 33 - Wonder if he will be Kevin O'Connor's "moneyball" play this year?
Lewis has been overpaid, at new # might be worth a look. Good shooter, play 3 or 4, good post up scorer, not tough, veteran
Lewis: Career 39% three point shooter, 16 pts 6 rebs per game. Seems to have lost zest for game in last few years, fits the moneyball mold
Lots of "stealing minutes" from Hayward and Burks comments - 96 wing minutes - Hayward about 30; Burks 20 to 25 still 40+ mins to fill
Whoa, I just looked at his stats from last year. 29% from 3? 39% fg? No thanks. The guy was playing with Howard, aka wide open looks from three.
That's my question. They have the cap space that they could deal #10 for Millsap straight up. Jazz would get another TPE out of it and a decent prospect. I'm not sure NOLA would want to blow their cap wad on Millsap before shopping the free agent market first.Do you think the #10 just became more or less available? Is NOLA going complete youth movement or are they looking for a vet?
I think either Al or Paul would be a nice complement to Anthony Davis.
