Our hand was forced to take Kanter, there was so much hype behind the kid that we either had to trade the pick or settle with him.

Guys I would have traded down for - Biyombo(defense people) and Knight(still like the potential with this kid)

Biyombo has a back problem and is the definition of raw. Can he stay on the court and elude foul trouble? We'll see. Some scouts are a lot higher on him than others. As for Knight, he wasn't KOC's BPA. KOC said that Kanter was number 2 on their board.

Yet in spite of this so called back problem he went #7 after we kept hearing Biyombo's slipping, Biyombo's going to be available at 12, blah blah blah

C, we add no defense, draft a big white goof in Kou...Kanter

Burks was supposed to be there at 12 and sure enough he was, but honestly I like Burks @ 12..only thing saving this draft from a total fail

First post, post-draft, your cred is waning. This has become about you.

Why becomes i'm not hopping on the Kanter hype train just because we drafted him? give me a break

This draft just reminded me of when we took Koufos over Serge Ibaka and we have suffered through that decision

Definite A IMO. Wanted Kanter with the 3rd and never thought Burks would be there at 12. Love both picks.

Doesn't mean it'll turn out great in the future, but that's how I see it now.

I'm disappointed the Jazz didn't find a way (or even try?) to get in the late 1st or early 2nd to get another player (particularly Butler and Jenkins). I'm also disappointed that the Jazz found a way to draft two players in the lottery that have never been known to guard anybody or lead anybody.

But the Jazz got some talented players and in a vacuum, these are pretty good picks. They went for it and I can appreciate that. B-

I hope Kanter is Zeebo without the bull ****. Really hope.

You seem to really like Memphis players..

I am in love with Marc Gasol, and Randolph has always been a force (but only recently a winning one). All I'm saying is Kanter looks like he could be like him; a tank with touch.

I also would have traded up for D.Williams

there is too much difference between Kanter n Biyombo, biyombo can be at best ibaka, but kanter has a huge potential
Also D. williams in my opinion will be a bust. These type of players have too much difficulty adopting nba.

I'm getting worried.... Last time everyone loved a draft like this, we ended up with Kardashian and that dude in prison.

Having said that, I think we got the BPA at where we were picking....

Those bashing Burks and comparing him to Brewer while weeping the passing of Leonard confuse me. Burks can create his own shot and score. Brewer and Leonard cannot. If anything, Leonard and Brewer have much more in common than Burks. If anything, Burks is a larger version of Devin Harris.

But he wont find easy points in nba as before, he gotta work on his shooting for sure, and increase his range. For me he seems like a good bench player but not a starter

I have to give us a C right now because Enes just hasnt played enough against competition or played an 82 game season so many unknowns with him and Burks is a solid pick up.
Dont really see how anyone can really give us an A.

Plus we didnt address any need

I would be interested to know which prospects in the draft have played an 82 game season before now.
