Re-doing recent drafts

Klay Thompson was off the board before out pick we couldn't have gotten him

1. Klay Thompson wasn't available when we picked at #12.

3. Let's not overreact to MCW's few good games, and let Burke play before we judge who is/will be better.

Im probably going to get flamed for this but if I could go back I would have drafted Klay Thompson over Kanter.

I was pissed when GStools took Klay one pick ahead of Burks. WTS, you can always trade a Kanter for a Klay.
 
Haven't seen MCW, but very impressed with Olynyk.
Also gotta put Kawhi Leonard up there.
If we had a wing lineup of Hayward and Kawhi. Oh my.

lol it's done deal if jazz call warriors and demand kanter for klay

it opens spot for barnes and kanter is the 6th man and urgence policy in case of bogut injury

I left Favors on since he was traded, not drafted.

Klay Thompson and Favors were drafted before the Jazz selection so you can't go back and draft them. Barely anyone wanted MCW on this board. I don't know when Nikola was draft but I never heard of the guy. The two big ones were Paul George and Leonard on SA. Yes George is a better player than Hayward but the difference isn't glaring. Leonard is the one that hurts because he is clearly better than Burks besides the fact that he plays the SF position and Hayward is best at SG. Burks has a long way to go to close the gap to change my mind about not drafting Leonard instead of him.

The biggest thing with Burks is his lack of a consistent jump shot which is I believe the reason why the Jazz didn't draft Leonard. LOL.

Didn't go back far enough. Take away Goodrich and bring in Magic. Then keep Wilkins. Yeah.
 
To do this correctly you would have to do an entire redraft for all of the teams and see if the Jazz got value for their picks where they picked. I believe that in the last 5 years or so, the Jazz did far better than average. If you do this, Kanter, Burkes, and Heyward were incredible values and would have been drafted higher on hindsight. We don't know enough about Burke and Gobert yet.
