Jazz's problem in the past have not been about getting back to the playoffs quickly, but to get over the hump and become a finals contender after they have become a playoff team. That's where KOC's real challenge lies. He has done a good job of getting the pieces quickly to make us a playoffs team again like he did earlier to bridge the Stockalone era to the Deron era. But having done that, we cannot stay a perennial 4-6th seeds who get eliminated before WCF every year for the next 5-7 years. That would be a failure considering we already have 4 lotto picks on this team.

Getting 2 more lottery picks isn't going to make us a contender. It may make us a decent team, but eventually those lottery picks that make us so good would have to be given contracts, we can't give every talented player we have a contract. We need to start giving our base (Favors and Hayward) the experience they need.
