It's your call. Bam is a good pick. I like Kurucs too. I might take Bam without thinking and see if Frank Jackson or Kurucs is there st 30.

I think that's the right pick. He'll maintain our defensive identity, run the floor, rebound, and score at a high rate around the rim. Favors light in preparation for when we lose Favors.

So I notice Luke Kennard was available to. Interesting. Though he's pretty low on your list.

I was enamored of Kennard for most of the year... but at the end of the day I just cannot turn blind eye to his defensive limitations. He was a horrendous defender for the college level. Imagine him having to guard DeRozan or Harden or Thompson or... pretty much any competent offensive guard in the league.

I would... We can get someone in the same tier at 42... can't have too many rookies... Thad has couple years left on a fair contract. Not the shooter I'd like but still a good player.
 
Thad gives you a more reliable starting four and might buy some time with Lyles if he is still flabby and bricky and pouty.

the second year is a player option. In general it's a question of do you want Thad or Favors for 1 year.

No. Absolutely not. The Jazz have no motivation to sell low on Favors, especially right before they sit down with Hayward. It's better to have Favors come back as healthy and productive as possible. Thadeus Young isn't a difference maker at all. The pick is mediocre, considering George may be traded and the Pacers would head to the lottery as a result, likely invoking the protection on the pick.

Ehh, I probably would balk at that then, especially if you think Indiana is going to eventually lose George. They might suck for a while.
 
I saw Thadeus Young with Brooklyn a year a go. Fools gold. Actually, not even that. I'd much rather have Lyles chucking 3s.

This is why he gets moved every year.

I'll trust you there although a decent starter playing 70+ healthy games would really help. I'm really worried Favs is broken.

That has been my impression too. He looks good at first sight, but the more you watch the more faults you find in his game... I'm almost certain I will hate him by the end of the season if he played for the Jazz.
