RealGM Mock Off-Season - Thoughts?

I saw Thadeus Young with Brooklyn a year a go. Fools gold. Actually, not even that. I'd much rather have Lyles chucking 3s.

This is why he gets moved every year.

lmao wut? The three times he has been traded is because the teams that had him wanted to rebuild around young players and tank.

That has been my impression too. He looks good at first sight, but the more you watch the more faults you find in his game... I'm almost certain I will hate him by the end of the season if he played for the Jazz.

Ehh, disagree. He plays hard and is a solid player. He isn't great, but he is better than a hobbled Favors. If you trade him expecting him to be a 3pt shooter, then yeah, you are going to be disappointed. He is an athletic slasher who plays hard.

I'll trust you there although a decent starter playing 70+ healthy games would really help. I'm really worried Favs is broken.

This is the point where I'd turn to my medical staff and I'd know what the chances of him staying healthy are. How often do 25 year olds just... break? And that's with an injury that reportedly doesn't even require surgery, but just rest?

How old is Joaquim Noah. He might be broken. But even if Favors is done, there are better replacements than Thadeus Young.

You seriously didnt suggest Joaquin Noah is a better replacement than Thaddeus Young.....

Your credibility just plummeted.

No. I referenced Noah as a player who is seemingly broken. I would, however, take Rudy Gay off an ACL injury ahead of Thadeus Young. I'd also look at Marvin Williams.

He had 2 all-star appearances before he turned 30. And then he injured his shoulder which needed a surgery ... that's when his fall began.

Looks like you're up... and Frank Jackson is available.

I'm considering taking Hamidou Diallo. The problem is... I still don't know if he will keep his name in the draft?
Dr. Jones , do you have any insider info about this? Is he coming back to Kentucky?

Or.. you could take Frank Jackson. He already signed with an agent.

I will take him in the second. Him or Kuzma.

I picked Diallo. Tools and athleticism are too much to pass on. Will trust our coaching staff to develop him. Might spend time in the D-League first year.

You might have just wasted a pick. He could go back to school.

I don't even think Calipari knows yet.
We are all speculating 65/35 he stays in the draft.
