Reasons why Conley will be better this year

He earned that contract... Just not with the Jazz.

He did ? Definitely by making all those all star teams and was worth the 3/4 of the team we traded for him? I agree his age and injury consistencies justify his contract indeed. Not

Love Conley, Ingles, Oneale, and Niang off the court....

I just wish they would be cheerleaders or agents or something.

What a loser... our two best players were getting this like 9 months ago. He’s so far behind, he’ll never get “acclimated”.

His family got covid and he was around them. The league has a strict 14 day quarantine with 6 negative tests before participating in league play.

Expect a lot of this from players around the league. Thus making them all losers i assume...

Better? I don't think so. Father time has definitely caught up with him. Its a process in professional sports that simply cannot be reversed. He's lost a step and not seeing the court as often due to Covid certainly won't help. And honestly I think he will have a lesser role this year as the idea of him coming off the bench being brought back onto the table. Conley's mere presence on the floor automatically leads to tougher defensive assignments for everyone else. Not what we wanna see when we need DM to take over the game offensively.

He was? I thought I remember him missing games last year for some reason. My bad...
Don't be daft. He was healthy to start the year, he straight up sucked ***, and the Jazz flourished when he went down.

He'll have a year of being here under his belt and that is an argument that he's better since, again, injury wasn't the root issue last year and there is no reason to believe he won't encounter injury issues this year.
