Republicans created Trump

ask yourself why every elected Republican is against something as simple as making Election Day a national holiday

Or why republicans demand voter id (even though voting fraud is non-existent)
Or why republicans have cut ballot staff in areas with heavy populations of minorities
Or why republicans have cut voting hours to prevent more workers (especially those working odd hours) from voting

I mean the list goes on and on and on

If you really think this is proof of what you claim then I'll bet you have a real problem with the fact that I have voted by mail numerous times because my travel schedule prevents me from being at home on election day. Is there a reason that other people who have conflicts on election day are not able to use this very convenient solution? Do you think that employers should be compelled to give everyone yet another day off when there is a solution available that would cost them nothing? And also, has it ever occurred to you that the people most likely to be required to work on a holiday would be the poorest, so you're supposed solution would probably actually be creating a problem.

Again, thanks for your contribution in this thread.

Have you learned how to tie your shoes yet? Still struggling? Is that why you're so frustrated?

Let's re-analyze this for a second.

1. I post two articles linked to the free website hoping for a good political discussion.
2. You willingly enter the Thread and post something completely unrelated. Had you had a sincere question about the legality of it, you could've reported it to the mode or pmed them. Instead, you post about it. By posting about it you reveal that your true intention is merely to troll.
3. I correct you. And give you a neg rep for being a troll.
4. You claim that I flew off the handle.

Who's really the emotional flying off the handle one here?

ROFL.

Again Joe, ask yourself-- why is every elected Republican against that policy? Every Canadian employer is required by law to give employees time off to vote on election day. Your anecdote doesn't answer my question :)

Voting fraud would be non-existent even if ID was unnecessary? Wow. There's not even any point discussing this with you if you're going to make such ridiculous statements. It's probably not non-existent even under the current situation of requiring people to demonstrate that they are eligible to vote. I think it's unlikely that the other things you are saying are true either (do you have proof of this), but even if they are they are easily solved by vote by mail.

Liberals want no voter ID so there Chinese an Arab donors to Hillary can vote her in office. They want allow people to vote multiple times. They care not for rule of law. This makes as much sense as allowing that criminal Hillary to run for office. Liberals hate working so they demand national holiday, welfare, healthcare, an tax anyone who cares for rising the quality of life.

Joe you are not dealing with rational people here. Ignore these Hillary worshippers. They care not for reason or logic so why respond? In there eyes a law abiding citizen like Trump is bad but an serial law breaker can walk free because she is a Clinton an liberal. We have conclusive evidence that would send any soldier to prison for 25 years yet she goes Scott free?

No rational person would support that.

Your ignorance is astounding.

A FRONTLINE analysis of voting laws nationwide found that only six of the 31 states that require ID at the polls apply those standards to absentee voters, who are generally whiter and older than in-person voters. And two states with strict photo ID policies for in-person voters — Rhode Island and Georgia — have recently passed bills that allow anyone to mail in a ballot.

And

Voter fraud generally rarely happens. When it does, election law experts say it happens more often through mail-in ballots than people impersonating eligible voters at the polls. An analysis by News21, a journalism project at Arizona State University, found 28 cases of voter fraud convictions since 2000. Of those, 14 percent involved absentee ballot fraud. Voter impersonation, the form of fraud that voter ID laws are designed to prevent, made up only 3.6 percent of those cases.

Sooooo I wonder why republicans are so obsessed with this problem? It wouldn't be about preventing urban and minority populations from voting, would it?

African-Americans and Latinos are more likely to lack one of these qualifying IDs, according to several estimates. Even when the state offers a free photo ID, these voters, who are disproportionately low-income, may not be able to procure the underlying documents, such as a birth certificate, to obtain one.

I agree. We clearly aren't dealing with rational people here...

Well, teach us then. What are the issues with Hillary? How will she ruin your country? Because she lied?

I've asked this question twice now on Facebook. No one has been able to adequately answer this question. They usually bring up Benghazi, her speaking fees, and Monica Lewinsky.

Apparently the affair bill had from nearly 20 years ago is a great indicator of Hillary Clinton as a presidential candidate.

Many of these people lean conservative. They worship the founding fathers. Apparently Thomas jefferson's improprieties with his slaves don't matter to them.

Force sex on slaves? That's fine.
Have a consensual sexual relationship with Monica? Electric chair!!!

Okay, just some quick points.

1) The problem with Bengazi is not that anyone believes there was some sort of anti-American plot run by Clinton and Obama as Thriller suggested. It's that Clinton and Obama lied about the situation and tried to minimize it because of the impact they apparently believed the facts would have had on the election which was less than two months away.

2) The reason Hillary's email situation matters is not because she told a couple of white lies, but because it is reasonable to assume that she did it specifically to keep her communications out of the public record. Why do you think her husband suddenly started receiving speaking fees of up to $750 K, and then almost immediately afterward Hillary made policy decisions that massively benefited the groups he spoke to? The bottom line is that she put her personal interests ahead of the country's and she put American lives in danger as a result. Listen to what Comey said. Even if you are happy with his decision not to prosecute, I cannot imagine how anyone can deny that the evidence Comey laid out against her is devastating.

All of that said, I can understand why some people would choose to vote for her over Trump. I can also understand why some people would vote for Trump over her. What is hard for me to believe is that those two are our only choices.

Agreed with this. I think that it would be a good meassure.

And because she seems to have no problem in providing aide to change regimes in foreign countries, causing them to become more unstable. That alone is the most visible red flag.

1a. Was there not a video circulating on YouTube infuriating Muslims at this time? Do you deny this? All the reports I've read is that the initial assessments made by intelligence agencies, not the Obama administration, was that the Benghazi attack was in retaliation to that video.

1b. What advantage did that give whether they lied about the cause of Benghazi or not? The Obama administration, not the republican controlled congress which earlier that year had cut security funding and bragged about it on national tv, was still blamed for it.

Repubs act like the Obama administration didn't receive any blame for Benghazi. In reality, no one else has received blame. Sorry, mitt lost because he wasn't very popular. Not because Obama didn't receive adequate blame for Benghazi.

2. Soooooo what advantage did that give again? Having a private server allowed Clinton to organize higher speaker fees? Because that couldn't have been done by any other means?

It really seems like repubs are grasping at straws here. They essentially seem to be sticking their fingers in their ears yelling, "but but but I don't like Hillary!" Stick to the issues. If you can't adequately explain why x issue should be a concern then face the truth: you just don't like Hillary.

But stop cooking up these bogus conspiracies and acting like they're legitimate concerns that most of the nation seems to be ignoring.
