I think it would be interesting for the mods to post who sends the most unsigned negreps. Not tie it to any particular negrep just something like "LogGrad98 has sent 5 unsigned negreps".
Sounds like something I wouldn't want to know. Unless there is actually a good reason for the rep given.
For a while I actually considered just relishing having the lowest rep power on the boards.
So what happens if I get a rep power of -15? Will it work like mathematics in converting my posreps into negrep deductions?????? If I then go about doing a lot of negreps, will folks just love me because it turns into posrep points by simple mathematical operation of minus times minus makes plus?????
That just doesn't sound right. Besides, then I really could be a contrarian. I know how to handle that math.
But having a digital caste system doesn't sound too good either. But since, as I've been advised, this is just the internet, maybe it can make things "fun" sometimes. Still, since my purpose in here is more to provoke reconsideration of settled views than provide the answers to life's mysteries, I expect to get a lot of neg rep.
I can see we do have some, in fact quite a few, fairly knowledgeable folks around here, and generally with some divergent points of view, so maybe I'll even learn something.
