What should be the max # of reps per day users can give? (up until recently this was set for 7, then as per this thread https://jazzfanz.com/showthread.php?7528-Spreading-the-reputation-around, a couple of weeks ago I set it for 5)

I put 12. Why put a limit on it. While many will just give out rep in order to be able to receive more, there will reach a point that said person may likely slow down if for no other reason than they don't want others to have as many rep points as they have. So while there giving will continue, they'll be more selective.

I tried, but have given out too many in the last 24 hours. This really disappoints Trout.

If you guys aren't going to ban KOC_BEGONE/BluesRocker, then at least let us have the satisfaction of neg repping him into oblivion. Honestly, 2 negs a day isn't nearly enough. Certain posters who deserve it should be able to recieve unlimited neg rep. They've earned it.
I am down with this as well. I can stand only being able to neg rep MillSlopper every other day, but there are too many good posts that aren't getting the love they deserve.
