Return of the Mack: Magic @ Jazz 3/5/2018 7:00 pm MST

As to the point that this .is Goberts team...who was the only jazz player willing to go after quin during his meltdown and followed him to the tunnel?

I feared for his life, but Spida took care of coach when no one else could.
I get what you’re saying, Gobert kind of is just okay with letting guys air things out. The other night when Crowder started arguing with Tibs Rudy was there and it was Mitchell that stepped in then too. Last night Donovan just wrapped Quin up and pulled him off the court. I’m happy to see it from him. Rudy still has seniority, and is definetly the biggest difference maker in winnining and losing....but Donovan is just as much the face of the franchise now as Rudy, and it’s pretty obvious he knows this is just as much his team and franchise as Rudy’s at this point. I think next season once this rookiness wears off he’ll be even more in charge. It is crazy how quickly and powerfully he took the roll of being on every facet of media that has to do with the Jazz, but he did, and he’s easy to sell. The Jazz arena has always had good attendance, but this years attendance wouldn’t be what it is without Donovan, or the apparel sales, or excitement. Currently Donovan owns the hearts of this fanbase more than any other player, and he knows it.

....I more so liked his asking the crowd to get excited after he pulled Quin off the court.

Crowder is exceeding expectations?

I mean, I like the guy and he seems to make winning plays, but he is hurting the offense with his efficiency. He is doing worse statistically than he did in Cleveland. Over the last 5 games he is shooting 31% from the field and 28% from 3. He is definitely someone the Jazz need to improve in that area if they want to beat playoff teams.

Quin needs to rewatch all his Boston footage and find out what his exact role should be (or at least as close to it as possible). The last two years in Boston he had a 3.0, and 3.89 RPM rating, truly outstanding.

Burks charging into a defensive wall at the free-throw line has become his signature move. I don't know what it will take to convince AB to stop playing stupid.

His drive to charge ratio must be the highest in the league. You can see it coming too... I can pause the dvr and turn to my wife and tell her what is about to happen midplay ... she doesn’t care and thinks I’m a nerd but still...
