Riddles!!!

Envelope.

A rooster lays an egg on the ridge of a roof. The two sides of the roof face north and south. Which way does the egg roll?

Roosters don't lay eggs

This next one is easy.

Ward is a 4 letter word the first letter w is the 23rd letter of the alphabet and can be given that numerical value. We will give every letter a numerical value based on its position in the alphabet a=1, b=2 and so on. The numerical value of the last 3 letters of the word "ward" a(1), r(18), and d(4) when added together equal 23 the value of the first letter in the word "ward". w(23)=a(1)+r(18)+d(4)

What is another four letter word that this will work for but in reverse? The sum of the of the first 3 letters of the word will equal the value of the last letter in the word. ?+?+?=?

Seam.

Here's an easy one since I can't think of a good one:

Which English word is always spelled wrong?

Which English word is always spelled wrong?

S(19)+e(5)+a(1) does not equal m(13)

they add up to 25 which is y

right idea but do it in reverse

Wrong is always spelled wrong

Yeah it is.

I was looking for the word easy. Which is why I started it off saying that the next one is easy.
Ha ha, I thought you were looking for "draw", which is very easy because it's just "ward" spelled backwards.

Let's play a game. Post a riddle and then someone answers it (hopefully without google) and they post a new riddle.

Two men are in a desert. They're not wearing backpacks. One of the men is dead. The man who is alive has his pack open. The dead man's pack is closed. What is in their packs?

Wrong, they have parachutes in their packs.

I was going to say "nothing" as they were not wearing backpacks.

Ok, fine I'll do it.

What gets wetter and wetter the more it dries?
A towel

I have 4 wings, but cannot fly, I never laugh and never cry; on the same spot I'm always found toiling away with little sound.
