So if you are picking from the rooks and sophomores, you have to pick Rudy first, no?

Rudy is absolutely going to wreck that game. I may even have to watch it. Generally I stay away from all star weekend.
 
Rudy/Giannis/Oladipo/Plumlee/Burke would be my starting 5.

Burke better than MCW IMO.

Actually, I think you get to pick from a pool of Rookies AND sophomores. and they choose it just like playground. We could have Exum AND Rudy playing against Burke.
 
With our luck we will get Rudy and Giannis on the team with MCW and MCW just chucks. For the sake of fun basketball someone would have to end MCW at halftime and insert Lavine. . .
 
These games are more like who can score the most, defenders don't really get showcased as much. On that basis I doubt Gobert would get too many opportunities to shine.
 
I was just checking the stats of the sophmore class. Is Rudy getting enough minutes to be in that game? Are his stats good enough? Obvioulsy he should be in that game but you never no which players they choose.

And is Dante a lock?
 
If Gobert is playing I'm watching. Basketball, checkers, charades... He plays I watch... He's that good.
 
The best team overall would probably be:

Gobert
Mirotic
Giannis
Wiggins
Schroeder

That would suite me well enough...

Gobert stuffing fools, leading to a run-out with Wiggins and Giannis on the wings, Schroeder pushing and Mirotic spotting up.

I did. The international players have been turning out pretty well over the past few drafts. It's one of the reasons that I have Hezonja and Porzingis still rated higher than a lot of people who have dropped them a bit. Those two are very, very skilled and athletic players.

The thought of Stifle Tower and the Greek Freak on the same team (even if it's the All Star Challenge) makes me a little sad for what might have been. Could you imagine a starting lineup of Gobert, Favors, Hayward, Antentokumpo and Exum? Think about the defensive potential of that lineup without really giving up that much on offense. . . especially with Burks, Hood and Kanter coming in off the bench.

Rudy plays by his own rules. Nothing can hold down the Rudy. Fools better be hitting their 3s, because Rudy will eat up everything around the rim. Eat. It. Up. Yum.

With most of the rookies injured? Dante just might sneak in. But he's not a lock by any means.
