LOL - are you folks on automatic-pilot? I guess I didn't make it clear enough when I clearly stated that I think Obama is a mediocre president.

My point is, how can I vote for Romney when I have no idea what he stands for and his campaign is nothing more than a collection of vague conservative bumper stickers . When asked why he doesn't provide any specifics he said he doesn't because when you do they just attack you on them. Have we really stooped so low to the point where this is considered an appropriate answer from a person who is running for president? Steve Forbes, another creep with no qualificiations other than being born on 3rd base, at least tried to sell his ideas.. He was 10X better than Romney and never got any where near the nomination.

Again, you are giving him way too much credit by saying he is mediocre. Let's all be honest, he has been terrible. It certainly doesn't help that when you question his competence that the media right away calls you a racist. That being said, you can vote for whatever candidate you wish to vote for.

As far as Romney's positions go, what more do you really need to know? He is a moderate Republican who only preaches to be pro-life because it suits him politically. He is a politician just as the President is. They will both pander to their base. It is another one of those lesser of two evils vote. If you think that's Obama then so be it.

Right. Cuz Romney's policies (which I'm not even sure what they are since they haven't been explained yet or he has flip flopped so much that I have no clue what he believes in) are soooo much better. How can anyone be excited, feel confident, or think they're an improvement over Obama, if they're anything like what the GOP put forth last time they were in the white house?

Here you are again misrepresenting everything and anything you disagree with. You actually can't take off the rose colored glasses long enough to realize that both partoes are in the end bad for the American people because they both have in a sense adopted some of the same stupid ideas about big government.

Please stop playing the race card. I don't hate Obama. He is actually quite likeable as a person. I do however think he is and has been a terrible President.

You say all of this and fail to recognize that Obama is indeed continuing a lot of the Bush policies. But hey, being a hack takes a lot of effort and dedication. Congrats! I don't care who you are voting for Thriller. You are obviously KoolAid drunk if you think this Presidency has been successful or for that matter if you believe there is a good choice between these two candidates.

You already know what Obama has to offer. Can you really sit there and say this has been a good Presidency or that the American people are better off for it? Probably not with a straight face. But hey, you can always blame Bush.

I think you're sorta missing the point that some are trying to make. Most agree that Obama has been somewhere between awful and mediocre- but what do you propose we do instead? Vote for Romney? Many have established why this would be a awful idea in their opinion. You have done nothing to propose any sort of alternative offer, other than saying "well okay Romney DOES suck but HOW can you like Obama!?!?! HE's a continuation of Bush!!". Okay, splendid. You then say that both presidents are the same. Alright, wonderful. What do you suggest we (and by we I mean American posters on this forum, myself not-included) do on November then?

Well, if you want you(the American voter and not you Dal) can vote Libertarian and Johnson. In the end though, that really won't matter. It's obviously a 2 person race and Johnson has no shot at the Presidency. So what should Americans do on Election Day? I might not like Romney as a politician or a candidate, but I know that we can't continue down the same path we have been on with Obama. I'll probably vote Johnson. Not that my vote really counts in the grand scheme of things. Romney will carry Utah easily.

Mostly FactCheck.Org - you know, the right wing kryptonite site. And sometimes Politico.

I will admit I read the NY Times. But I also read the Wall Street Journal - what the hell I get it for free through my job.
 
I love when Righties get their panties all bunched up that a mediocre Dem is in office when the epic failure of the Bush years basically guaranteed a Dem with a suit would win the general election. I love it how the right presumes to see so clearly the failings of this president, but can't even begin to put them in the historical context of the last 30 years.
