Rondo Obsession?!

Watching pass-first players like Rondo give Jazz fans basketboners. We've been pretty spoiled at the PG position as a franchise, and it sucks that we don't have what we used to.

Rondo would never play for Utah. But If he did I'd predict that his assist numbers would drop, shot attempts would increase, and his field goal percentage would decrease. Also have a hunch it would take no more than three games for jazzfanz to complain about his poor shooting ability. And his defense would become more passive because it is pretty apparent that the jazz management cares very little about this aspect of the game.

Based on?? Please provide some empirical data regarding Rondo specifically.

I will not. This is my opinion of a Hypothetical situation so I'm don't really care about any evidence. I am simply using common sense. I believe rondo would have to score more than he does with the celtics just because of the people he would have around him.
Rondo would still be an excellent player, one of the premier point guards in the league. I am simply making an educated guess that his efficiency would be slightly less playing for the jazz as opposed to the c's. He would still be one of the most efficient players in the league, and would make the jazz better no doubt. I am not saying he is bad, or would be bad for the jazz.
Curious as to the evidence I could use for this situation. You think maybe his stats in games where pierce and Allen were out or something along those lines? No clue, what they are. They could entirely contradict my viewpoint

I was simply calling you out if you were like too many others that cite Rondo's success being directly tied to Pierce and Garnett.
Rondo's a stud, imo. He would make us twice as good immediately .................................. imo.

No i agree with you. He is an incredible player no matter which team he is on, and would make the jazz way better.
