Mills likely won't get 18 mins. Sexton will get 30+ most nights. Clarkson will likely be treated as a backup PG and pick up a few more minutes overall as well. Sensabaugh will likely get most of his minutes at the 2.

So, let's say it's more like this ---
PG: George (31) / Clarkson (17) / Collier (??)
SG: Sexton (30) / Clarkson (8) / Sensabaugh (10)
SF: Lauri (30) / Williams (18)
PF: Hendricks (28) / Lauri (4) / Filipowski or Eubanks (16)
C : Kessler (28) / Collins (20) / Filipowski or Eubanks (??)

Giving Eubanks more minutes than Sensabaugh would be so wack
They need to stagger Hendricks / Lauri minutes so they can play the 4 and we can play the young wings more

Those minutes at the 4 could go to Filipowski rather than Eubanks. Just guessing.
If the Jazz can find a trade for Clarkson, that would open up minutes for Sensabaugh and Collier, and maybe a few for Juzang.
If the Jazz can find a trade for John Collins, that would open up minutes for Filipowski and Eubanks in the frontcourt.

I'm not a huge fan of giving Eubanks minutes at all, lol.

I would prefer to see Hendricks and Lauri staggered

Have different front court rotations
1: Cody / Lauri / Kessler
2: Sensabaugh / Hendricks / Flip

Hendricks ability as a weak side rim protector help cover up some of Flips weaknesses

Think the rotation has been in open sight throughout preseason. Only somewhat open ended question is if Collier or Mills will the backup minutes off the bench. I don't have a strong opinion one way or another if GLeague is better or worse for Collier, so I'm fine with it either way.

I think it's pretty clear that the youth (Collier) will get minutes over the vets (Mills), at least initially. The vets (Mills, Eubanks, Svi) will serve as injury backups for now, which I suppose could change if it's determined that the G-League would be better for development than NBA minutes.

Obviously with Collier hurt, Mills will play until he returns. I think I would prefer for Juzang to get minutes over Mills and give Sexton more time at PG, but I can understand why Hardy would think differently.

Having too many youth that you can't give them all minutes, even in a "development year" is something that hopefully everyone understand as we end up making tough decisions this coming off season. Currently we have Juzang and Flip out of the rotation, even though they probably should be getting regular minutes this year. Looking ahead to potentially adding 3 more rookies next year and it's clear we need to consolidate some of our youth/draft picks. It will be interesting how it all plays out.

It does look like Collier will get the first go, but I think the Jazz really like to utilize the GLeague so I can see them viewing that is a better developmental environment for. Like I said earlier, I don't have any strong opinions one way or another about which is better so I'm fine with either.

My preferred rotation is as you said, Juzang getting those minutes along with more Sexton at PG...but Hardy basically tethered Sexton to Key so I don't think it's in his or the franchises plans to run Sexton there.

To start the year, I think it will be very close to what we saw with SAC. Only differences is Collier in for Mills, and then a few more minutes to Key/Sexton/Lauri in lieu of minutes for Collier/Sens. We're not going to see anything different than what we already have.

I think Collier is actually better than washed Patty. I think he likely does one G league stint but maybe only for the showcase or if he is struggling. Other than that I think the rotation players are:

Starters
KG
Sexton
Lauri
Taylor
Kessler

Bench Regular Rotation
Collins
Williams
Clarkson
Brice
Collier

Injuries and strategic absences will provide opportunities but I think Lauri Collin Kessler KG only get around 30 minutes a game to allow a 10 man rotation.

I those two (juzang and flip) are the right two to leave out. Juzang gonna be around and we kinda know more about him. Flip being a second round rookie pick with a team kinda loaded at the position leave him little chance.

Man it would be nice to dump Collins and Clarkson and get juzang and flip in there.

Based on what I have seen in preseason we may want Clarkson there instead of Juzang to help the tank lol. I think they will try but not super optimistic they find a taker. Next year both of those contracts are expiring and can be used to do a sign and trade or some other transaction though.... so I think only one more year or waiting.

The only thing I somewhat dislike about the rotation is that it caps Sexton's minutes. I feel as though if he's here, we might as well let him pop off and get real starter minutes. If he's around 26-28....I don't feel as though we're even giving him the opportunity to be a star/be seen as a star. If he's only getting 26-28 minutes, the league will only see him as that. Maybe that's how the Jazz only see him....if so we should have traded him already. Either give him that opportunity to be more or just move on.

I mean there are definitely going to be injuries, Collier is injured right now. At any point throughout the year we will have 1 or likely 2 rotation players out with little urgency to get them back until they are fully 100%. Playing time will work itself out.

I think Clarkson has been pretty good sans the turnovers.

Probably right.

I'm projecting that Collier and Flip will spend sigificant time in the G-League. This is my rotational guess:

Starting Lineup:

PG: Keyonte George
SG: Collin Sexton
SF: Lauri Markkanen
PF: Taylor Hendricks
C: Walker Kessler

Bench Rotation:

PG/SG: Patty Mills
They brought him in for development help. He'll win games for us in this role, all the rookies and 2nd year guys can learn from him. Can play both PG and SG.

SG: Jordan Clarkson
Need a sixth-man type of performance out of him this year.

SG/SF: Cody Williams
Probably the 2nd or 3rd best player on the team. Needs a mentor like Patty Mills, could have a fantastic 1st year, even if he's coming off the bench.

PF/C: John Collins
Can play either PF or C.

C: Drew Eubanks
This guy can play. He'll push Kessler to be better. He can score and defend, off the bench, at the center position.

Deep Bench/Development Players:

Brice Sensabaugh
Where does Brice fit, if you have a healthy Cody and Lauri?

Johnny Juzang
Worked hard to become an assassin. Every team needs a good, "dead-eye" shooter to make up ground. Kind of a Sam Merrill type player. May or may not get minutes every night.

Svi Mykhailiuk
Have you noticed that the Jazz have a lot of guys at that guard-forward position? Where does he fit? Is that just the NBA?

Depending on how the season goes, and how well Cody and Taylor are coming along, the Jazz have some trade capital at the deadline. Meaning, they could trade any of the following: Jordan, John, Sexton and Brice. This will be a tough decision, if the Jazz sit in the top-half of the league come February. If Collier and Flip are crushing it in the G-League, making those trades becomes more important for their promotion.
