Round 1 Game 2 Utah Jazz at L.A. Clippers 8:30pm MDT

Meanwhile, Gordon stiffled by Mbah a Moute is shutting him down. The defense is complete trash without Gobert. Clippers should just post up all of our bigs because without Rudy the inside cant defend.

Truth is the Jazz didn't play with intensity this game, especially in the first half....it didn't seem a playoff game, more a practice game.

Probably they have speculated a bit because they won the first game.

I want to see Exum, Burks and Lyles getting some burn. The Jazz needs easy buckets attacking the rim.

Again, the point I'm making is not dogging on him. But what if this is what we get from him now? What then? Just wait it out and hope that the position he plays that essentially determines a team's offensive and defensive strategy with any given lineup figures itself out? At what cost?

I'm going to continue to advocate for prioritizing a defensively-competent 4 that can spread the floor. I might wrong a long-essay about it at some point, but the gist is that there is greater net-value in spacing the floor if you have the right center in most cases, in the cases that the opposite is true, that PF better be bruising and good at using their size and skill to their advantage and/or be a really good defensive player. Favors is neither right now, and hasn't been in quite some time now.

Game 1 was the Clipper fault completely for their lose. We lost Rudy and they never took advantage by attacking our bigs. We got lucky they didnt change their game plan after the Rudy injury. Dont get me wrong I was ecstatic. But, I was hoping that in this game to see some young guys. I knew we didnt stand a chance.

I call the series to go 6 Clippers taking it. Then in the offseason if we dont sign Hayward and Ingles this year is a waste. If we do sign them then much of the youth is going to want off this team. Then hopefully we can pull another Joe Johnson. Meanwhile, teams with young rosters will surpase us. We might get the 7th seed next year.

Hayward, Gobert, Hood have all developed. Lyles and Exum the jury is out.

Superior players? They got lucky Gobert went down and the Jazz have been controlling the pace of the series and that was in LA. But nope, must be an LA problem instead of a Utah strength.

Hayward has averaged 19.5 ppg, 8 rpg and 2.5 apg on %s of 100%FT, 42% from 3 and 36%FG Sure his FG% is low and he's in a dog fight but that doesn't look like being shut down to me. Stats don't support that theory either.

Defense? Clippers are shooting 48.5%FG and 31.8% on 3s. Wow, another mixed bag. No disaster? Not "complete trash"?

Jazz have shot 41 FTs to the Clippers 25. So the Jazz are winning that metric as well.

All of this when both games were in LA and it's 1-1. Next two games are in Utah.

There isn't truth here as much as there is the continuation of a years long narrative by this poster of trashing the Jazz at all costs.

What were the announcers saying about the push by speights on hood? Did they think it was flagrant while it was being reviewed?
