Lol? Really? That’s supposed to reveal my hypocrisy? I’m sorry I’m more interested in Roy Moore and the politics of the nation than Hollywood gossip. Can you show me threads where I have emphasized the importance of Hollywood celebrities over politics? What spacey, Weinstein, CK Louis, and whoever else has done is despicable and i hope they pay for it. So if you truly were concerned about my view on sexual abuse, there you have it.

It’s funny, you tried to show somehow my hypocrisy in failing to start a thread about Spacey, because for some reason in your head he’s somehow representative of the DNC. But it actually backfired. I’m known for politics, not Hollywood. Hypocrisy would be me creating threads about conservative Hollywood actors and their improprieties yet refusing to create threads for liberal ones.

Don’t try me. I have a degree or two over your head. Get a college education, then come talk to me.

Yes this. Believe me the brave women who came forward and went through this with me were dealing with FAR greater pressures and pain than I was. It was a nightmare scenario for all involved, but as bad as it was for me I do not pretend that it was anywhere near what those women had to go through. It changed the way I manage people, and it is a bad memory I will never forget, but for at least 2 of them it represents real scars they will carry the rest of their lives. Men who perpetrate this **** need to be dealt with harshly, imo.

LOL Weinstein, Spacey et al were in "positions of power" (over women at least) for DECADES. So was Clinton by the way, and Wiener. They are all deplorables, on all sides (Trump and his ilk included fully at the same level). It is just funny how you find it so convenient to gloss over anything that might look bad to dems just to go after repubs when there are ****ty people everywhere. BP got it right.

The difference I see is when Weiner's sex abuse came out he was dropped like a hot potato, and is now in prison. Roy Moore has surrogates in Alabama saying that having sex with 14 year olds is "much ado about nothing." Oh yeah, and Trump was made president after he was caught on tape bragging about sexual assault.

I don't think anyone is making the case that there aren't men capable of horrors on both sides, it's just that one side seems a little more interested in holding them accountable. Maybe pointing that out makes me a partisan *******, but it seems like there is some serious moral rot in the GOP these days.

I think most people who turn to Christian teachings after some sort of sinful life are trying to make a change for the better. some, not all, of course. I wish I could say the same about, say, secular humanists in general. Maybe, I've seen some like that, just not a general trend. Most, ime, when cut loose of belief in higher powers, go all Nietzche on us and start to believe they can do whatever they can get away with. That is, for example, how I see the Clintons..... maybe Trump, but I still think he's more of the old soft-headed back-slapper looking for a win-win deal with whoever he's talking to.

Celebrity culture=tinsel culture. Celebrity culture is one of the problems with America, IMHO. Who gives a rat's *** what a Hollywood celebrity thinks about the issues of the day? And celebrity culture spit out Donald Trump for our consumption as well.

I watch their movies and listen to their songs but that’s it. Never watched a celeb interview, awards show or any of that other crap.

I mean at some point repubs need to admit that losing an election isn’t as bad as empowering a pedophile, right?

i used to watch and love award shows. but then they started preaching how my logical ideology and lifestyle is immoral. and i am scum of the earth. i am a nazi. i am masognist. i wnana control womens body! so i stopped watching. sometimes i also stop watching tv shows if they get overly one sided political!
