Aside from being the gayest thing a man can do, soccer is fun to play and watch. RSL is a very good team, so it's a pleasant experience to enjoy.

That was the best RSL has ever played in my opinion. I thought we'd struggle a little bit with out Saborio and Johnson but DAMN, I liked the midfield be had tonight. Grabs,Williams, Morales and Beckerman.

Paulo was a beast. He played in the RSL system 99% of the time. Instead of forcing the issue he took what LAG gave him and when he had to he dished the ball well. Bravo!!!!

Yeah, this pissed me off. I was walking up the stairs at the 41st minute to get food. They show Jimbo on the the Jumbo, and then Javi scores one of the sweeeeeeeeetest goals I have seen in soccer. Oh well, at least I got a little bit of Jimmer inside me for the evening.

Please understand that the amazing goal was only possible BECAUSE Jimmer was on the jumbo-tron.

Watch the replay of the goal and watch Beckham. He moved a total of 2 steps in 10 seconds, with Javi running right past him. Even Mr. "Bend It Like Me" was frozen in awe by his Jimmerness.

RSL plays Saprissa tomorrow, Tuesday, at 10pm MST in Costa Rica. RSL can advance by winning the game, tying the game, lose this game by one goal, or by losing 2-1 (non-overtime).

Saprissa plays in a very hostile stadium, called "La Cueva" (The Cave), because their team mascot is a dragon and they have a very raccous crowd:
