Ricky is the kind of player that is a little bit on an enigma... people will either hate him or love him... I understand why some are not fans of his game.
Rubio at the point, Hill as a combo G, and Exum on some other team. FTW
You consistently underestimate how much money actually factors into the Jazz's thinking. Even the Warriors are concerned about their situation and are willing to let Iggy meet with teams and walk potentially.
I think y'all are nuts... I think Rubio is a solid pickup for basically nothing. His shooting my hurt us but when's the last time we've even had a guy put up a consistent 8-10 assist a game. That's points right there.
It drove me nuts last year how Rudy would give his all on the PnR, but would never get the ball. He'd post up and nobody even cared to look. These are things Rubio excells at.
Key thing is that he also knows where to find our shooters in the spots they are best at. If Hayward comes back we won't see him sit back and play hesitant because we have a guy who can get him involved and facilitate. Same for Hood, Favors, and his good friend Ingles.
If Hayward leaves, at least we have the pg position on lock and don't have to worry about overpaying Hill.

Get back to me when the reports come in that Utah didn't attempt to re-sign George Hill.
Thanks.

jazz would have two of the best passers for less than what Hill was demanding if Teo gets the MLE. Still hopeful rednecks "big move" is yet to come. But he also said the Jazz would just make a small move with their 2016 cap space.I think this really increases the chance the Jazz get Teodosic.
Yes, Pelton gave the Jazz an 'A'. Here's an exceprt --
The clock was ticking down to the final hours on the $16 million or so in 2016-17 cap space the Jazz had remaining after they were unable to convince starting point guard George Hill to agree to a renegotiation and extension during the season.
When the 2017-18 league year officially begins after the moratorium, the cap holds for free agents Hill and Gordon Hayward would put Utah over the cap. For that matter, so would retaining just Hayward's cap hold, and even if both Hill and Hayward left, Rudy Gobert's extension kicking in means the Jazz wouldn't likely have as much space as they did Friday, the last day of the 2016-17 league year.
Honestly, do you really think DL is going to risk losing Hayward, just to save the difference between Hill and Rubio?
That's expected from Cy, but not you. This is an insurance policy because they are worried about not being able to re-sign Hill.
Not some cheap *** decision to save money and risk losing Gordon.
