I was also thinking of Boom Bitches! or wat up doe, but those really are phrases so I'm not sure they should count as a "word" of the year, plus Boom Bitches isn't even on the team anymore. What do you think? Can we do it?

Anyhow, my sincere apologies because it appears I've misled you all - when I last looked at this yesterday before I posted, Urban Dictionary was accepting votes and "ruca" had 8 votes (including two by me...)

Now it appears that voting is closed, at least as far as the official "Urban Dictionary Word of the Year for 2010" is concerned. So I'm not sure if this thread has any real value.


but hey, if we can make ruca and one slightly androgenous avatar happy, then perhaps it's worth it?
