What's new

Rudy Gay out at least two weeks

Awesome

As bad as Gay has looked at times, the lineups with him in them have been successful. He has the highest net rating and best defensive rating of our rotation players.
and? i hope conley, clarkson, olynyk, sexton, etc deal with injuries that keep them out for a few games too.

Ochai has been very mediocre in his G=League stint.
I know... I don't care too much as the player Ochai needs to become likely doesn't put up huge numbers in the G League. Simone is the guy for sure... if there is another injury then maybe Ochai gets some burn.

As a matter of fact... I predict Simone is in the rotation from this point forward (as long as he is healthy of course).

Gay is going to comeback eventually. Losing spot due to injury is big no-no in the NBA among coaches for vets. Maybe they will slowly phase him out after he returns, but he will return.

He's done. Benching a young guy who performs well just because a ****** vet comes back is a bigger no-no.

Kerr gave David Lee's spot to Draymond... they ended up doing okay.

I’m actually happy… Simone needs to play. It likely doesn’t change a whole lot wins/losses wise. Hell maybe Ochai actually gets a turn… prolly not.
Agbaji needs minutes to see if he can develop and not just in the G league. The G league doesn't help team chemistry. If it results in a few extra losses this year as he learns, that is fine too.
