I don't think you understood what I said. Even if in theory he could improve his shot to the point where etc, it would still not be worth it because 1/ he brings so much more rolling ot the rim and 2/ a 3pt shot is better than a 10 footer from a center not shooting that well.
And sure it's never too old to improve your shot... But he isn't a 20 years old who could still massively improve his shot. he is nearing 25 and if not a complete product yet, odds are he won't change radically in the future.
Ergo rather than hoping he adds something hypothetical and actually not that essential, my main wish is for him to keep playing the way he does for a longt time, ie stay healthy.
Do you see what I mean ?
And there are plenty of players who improve their shot post-25. No one is a finished product, especially not great players, at age 25. Look at how big of a FT jump he took this year.
