BeautifulHmmm... maybe the Clippers shouldn't be favorites?
You’re on the wrong premise. This aint it
Having a move like this would make him a far far worse center. The field goal percentage for 10' hookshots going away from the basket is very low for everyone. Is he can put together just one move like this he'd move into the top centers ever discussion, not just the best right now.
Very rarely has adding versatility to a star players game made them a worse player. Were you mad when Malone started shooting mid-range jumpers instead of relying exclusively on bulling his way to the rim? In fact can you point out a single example of a player adding a new facet to their game and becoming a worse player as a result?Having a move like this would make him a far far worse center. Yes, you can pretty easily. Just look at any center like Rudy who in the past demanded post-up looks, like Andre Drummond and Dwight Howard.Very rarely has adding versatility to a star players game made them a worse player. I just dont know how anyone can look at that ugly *** move Rudy did against a guy who put up extremely casual post defense and still was able to force Rudy into a look that is 40% at best. Most NBA centers would have blocked this shot.
The only post move that matters for Rudy is deep position catch>drop-step>dunk

You mean one of the better post-defenders in the NBA?If he is guarded by center - ok, but if he is guarded by someone smaller (like Harden) and is a bit closer to the basket it coud be useful.

Adding a skill does not equate to "demanding looks". Also show the stats before and after Drummond added an effective jump hook that showed his dramatic decrease in efficiency. Otherwise STFU.Yes, you can pretty easily. Just look at any center like Rudy who in the past demanded post-up looks, like Andre Drummond and Dwight Howard.
