The interesting thing with Phoenix is that their management and ownership is very impatient as the last years have shown.
So what if Cleveland offers
-Kevin Love(21.1 salary) for Booker(2.2) + Tyson Chandler(12.4) + Tucker(5.3)
Phoenix would at least think about it and Cleveland would be required to add a couple draft picks on top.
I'm also not exactly sure what Phoenix's plan is and it's hard to read them on the surface without studying the franchise more. Their current roster is confusing.
They have a lot of weird player types on their team:
-The teases: Len shows improvement whenever he's healthy for an extended period of time(Long, tough and relatively mobile for 7'2)
TJ Warren's game logs have inspired the design of multiple six flags roller coasters
Bledsoe's knee injuries. You hope he's healthy, he looks like he's healthy but his knee arthroscopies every other year leave you guessing if he can ever be a reliable contributor.
Leave you guessing is the next category: The '?'s
Bledsoe is obvi part of that group as well.
But the main guys here are the 2 new rooks that need probably 3 seasons until they will contribute reliably due to lack of experience.
Brandon Knight - He's proven he can play well in Milwaukee, but he's played like crap in Phx. He probably needs a very special kind of team around to be productive. A team that covers for his weaknesses and requires his strengths. Can Phoenix build such a team?
Booker - How much upside, will his production stay consistent once other teams actually stop giving the Suns the 76ers treatment aka watch pixar movies instead of scouting clips.
The "have beens"
Tyson Chandler(unhappy)
Tucker(expiring + probably too old to be part of a future contender/pretender
Barbosa
Dudley aka the 8digit cheerleader/veteran
Super weird no mans land situation for the team. Maybe Love would be good if they managed to bottom out another year and score a star in the '17 draft. Age gap between Love and that guy could be overcome since Love's skill level shouldn't cause a huge production drop at age 30.
But why not stick with Booker, tank anyways?
