Rumor: DMo to sign with Jazz if Favors misses extended time

I figure this becomes the option if we dont re-sign Favors and we decide to move on with Lyles. Again, as others have stated, what he brings to the table seems slightly redundant with Lyles being around.

I'd rather use the money to extend hill and favors. Boris is looking better and so is lyles. Those two players are each about the samw as dmo to me.
 
Yeah, I'm really hesitant to believe anything anymore, unless it comes from Woj or that other mini-Woj guy- forget his name.

There's someone on realgm who does have real contacts for sure, and he posted something the other day that I consider to be opinion from somebody near the Jazz, but definitely not legitimate info from the FO, like he tried to make it out to be.

In other words, until it happens, I tend to believe it's B.S.
 
Obviously, there are a lot of variables/moving parts to what would make this work (the biggest one being just how concerned the Jazz are that Favors is busted), but I'm intrigued.
 
Very very meh on this idea. I supposed I would come around if I had absolute proof that extensions for Hill and Favs couldn't be worked out, but since I'm very unlikely to acquire that proof.....

Withey's defense has also been pretty damn good lately for the limited-minutes player that he is.
 
It's wild to me people would want DMo long-term when he has a much worse injury history than Favors. I'm cool with signing this dude for a year and 2nd partially guaranteed, but that's it.
 
I'd pass... it would mean we couldn't sign hill to an extension and I'd like to keep that door open even if the answer is no right now.

Not a big fan of D-Mo and he doesn't fit well with Lyles. I've liked Withey play just fine. We need a Dwayne Dedmon type to pair with Lyles.

Yeah I don't think this team has a hole in the frontcourt, assuming favors is not already mummified.
