Rumor: Jazz and DeMarcus Cousins

I have a question. Has the definition of "rumor" changed in the last few years or so?

Has the definition of message board?
We aren't reporting we're merely engaging in conversation that has no bearing on the franchise.
Stop trying to censor us bro.

Stop trying to make us talk about Cousins.

This thread was huge letdown for me. I saw the title of the thread and got very excited. Cousins is badly underrated on jazzfanz. If I was a ball player stuck on the Kings. I'd have been kicked out of basketball a long time ago. I don't blame him for his antics on the court. It's insanity that he's still on the Kings.

Would Gobert/Cousins even work out financially? I mean, I know we're still under the cap, but Gobert is still on a rookie contract, isn't he? Whereas Cousins is making all the moneys.

OK, just looked it up. Cap is $94m, Utah is currently at $83.5m. Cousins is making $15m, Gobert is at $2m. So, yeah, we'd have to send some pieces along, Like Ingles ($2m) or Pleiss ($3m. How is he making $3m?). But doable.

Gobert/Cousins would never work nor would it happen.

This should be a big No by the Jazz. When has Cuz gotten along with anyone he's played with? If the Jazz make the trade they might as well fire QS and make Cuz player coach. If he and George Karl couldn't get along I doubt he will play hard for any coach.

Cousins is not under estimated on here. Guy is a fantastic talent. One of the most talented, if not the most talented, Cs in the league. The problem was never his ability. It was his mental fortitude. He is the biggest thing holding him back.

The Malone/Cousins comparison never occurred to me before (from a personality standpoint). It might be a good one.

Malone was a loose cannon and yet still a million times more mentally stable than Cousins. Dude might be the best player in the league but he will straight quit on you mid-game, hell, mid-possession over the littlest thing.

Did Karl ever do that?
