I feel like I need to type slooooooowly so some of you guys can understand. Some responses:

• It's Genessy.
• I did not backtrack to say I didn't have a source. Why on earth would I?
• I didn't have any obvious plot holes BECAUSE I didn't have a plot. I simply passed along what a source said.
• I never suggested that the Jazz broke any NBA rules. The Jazz don't have to talk to Millsap or his camp to let it known they are interested, and vice-versa.
• Guilty as charged. About once a month or two, I come on here and read this forum.
Lastly ...
• I do have a lesson to learn: DO NOT COMMENT ON MESSAGE BOARDS!
• To those of you whom have supported me personally and professionally, thank you very much.

Why are you yelling? We just like Favors!!!!

Lesson probably should don't make post as your real world handle getiing defensive when Peasents don't like you write. Have fun with the message board. thats all it is. And find women.

Are you new fan to the NBA? Welcome. As for this comment, I'm sure you'll get better in time. This kind of stuff definitely wears on players when it keeps happening. Favors seems to be pretty happy in Utah for now, but he wouldn't be the first player to bail for another team when his contract was up because he was sick of hearing his name in trade rumors. These guys are grown men, but they are still human, and nobody likes to feel unappreciated.

The problem with this tweet was that it was disingenuous. Jody himself admitted he didn't believe it either, so why didn't he try to confirm it with another source? He could at the very least said something to that effect, that he could not confirm it -- or did he, I didn't read the tweet. The point is though that it's absurd, because the Jazz let Millsap walk because of Favors. And Favors is 23 and Millsap 30 -- you'd have to be crazy to trade Favors to make room for Millsap.
 
Paul Millsap and the Orlando Magic met immediately when free agency began and he was offered a four-year, $80 million max contract.

Millsap spent the past two seasons with the Atlanta Hawks, who offered him the same contract.

Millsap has also received interest from the New York Knicks, Indiana Pacers and Dallas Mavericks, but he does not plan to meet with those teams.

Previously, Millsap was paid $9.5 million per season with the Hawks.

Good for Paul. Get paid while you can. Hope he stays in Atlanta, but if he goes to the Magic. . . does that mean Tobias Harris and/or Aaron Gordon are obtainable? Probably Harris as there was friction between him and Skiles in Milwaukee. Still love Aaron Gordon, even though he was hurt last year.

To Jody if you really are reading this.

Next time don't report fake or sketchy rumors/news. Especially if it involves the trade of one of our favorite players. This market has a hard enough time keeping and attracting good players. We don't need your help running them out of town.

It is. He's confirmed the account on twitter in the past.

Totally absurd that a couple of asshats have chased him away because they didn't like what his source told him. This is an actual Jazz beat reporter, with actual connections inside the organization, and rather than welcoming him into the discussion they make jokes about his weight and troll him.

In the words of True Detective: you get the world you deserve.

Hope colton steps up and deals with the trolls.
