My buddy saw Ronnie Turiaf at SLC Airport in front of the smoking room/Best Buy.

Didn't I hear NY was looking for a floor spreading big man?

Food for thought. Discuss.

Hmmm are you sure it wasn't just fans of the movie "Predators"

Either would make for a good deterrent for going into the paint.

Yeah, well i saw Kyle Korver at Smith's Market Place today. Riddle me that.

In serious news though, my buddy bumped into Williams at some Italian place in Cottonwood Heights yesterday and Deron said there might be some news in the next few days and he fully supports it, but he wouldn't tell him what it was.

As a big man off the bench, the Jazz could do a lot worse than Turiaf. When he was included in the David Lee deal, I wondered if the Jazz might use some TPE money for a guy like Turiaf.

I just love how my original "I saw Memo at Best Buy" story from 3+ years ago during the off-season, when nothing was happening, is still alive and well on this site. hahahah... but seriously, I did really see him standing outside of Best Buy waiting for someone, then I later saw him leaving with a flat-screen TV....that's all. Now whenever someone says anything about hearing anything from a friend, uncle, brother, uncle's friend's brother...it's automatically linked to Best Buy... hahaha classic!

No, it was Memo...I saw him...

Great, but the original Best Buy legend for this board was from back in '05 when some Laker fan/blogger came on the site to tell how he saw Boozer at a Best Buy and said that he needed to play with the Lakers and Boozer said "we're trying". From that point on, Best Buy became a punchline and now that punchline is a dead horse.

Nothing to do with Ronnie Turriaf but a couple of weeks agon a co-worker passed Jerry Sloan walking south on the J-River trail. He said Jerry didn't look like he wanted to talk.

He though it meant Jerry is looking to retire. I took it to mean that Jerry was looking for a player from down south, perhaps from The Flash, maybe from Phoenix.

The original Best Buy rumor originator was Eric Pincus who was so upset that we were ridiculing it that he briefly created an account here to defend the story. Pincus is still writing for (I think) hoopsworld.

Deron is being traded to Miami?

Bear is being asked to dye his fur green, blue and gold?
