Okay, it's just the Tribune hiring a guy from a Portland rag to replace Siler, but it's something.

Yeah, he totally will fit in.

Of all the Jazz boards I have read and participated in, this thread wins the lamest ever posted award. Hands down.

Bob, I got a bad feeling on this one, all right? I mean I got a bad feeling! I don't think I'm gonna make it outta here! D'ya understand what I'm sayin' to you?

I'd say your post is because it's quite apparent you put ZERO thought in before trying to think of a "witty" reply. The truth is, this is Jazz related and important news. Us Jazz fans respected Ross Siler a lot. He provided superb articles, blogs, and twitter coverage of the Jazz. He was an inside guy who gave the fans the scoop on everything Jazz. With Siler leaving him and Smith taking his place as an identical blog/twitter/fan-friendly guy, it's important. Not to mention the DesNews folding and the Trib becoming the reliable source of Jazz beat.

Guess you've never seen Platoon?

Agreed though, hopefully he's at least 75 percent what Siler was.
