I didn't watch the game but when I looked at the box score I didn't see burks played any minutes. Anyone know why he was out? Injury?

shoulder, hurt it again in practice
He aggravated his shoulder injury in practice the day before.
Bad teams "almost" beating good teams is absolutely no indication whatsoever that the good team was ever in danger of losing the game.
Much like many of the games the Jazz have played when they "almost" came back after getting bitch slapped by good teams.

Well that was a win, but that's all that was. Any other team beats us by 20.
And my hell Trey, effffing move the ball. He bogged down the offense quite well last night. At times I lost count how many times he used one of our bigs when dribbling in one possession. I mean good hell!! Either attack or pas the ****ing ball you dumbass!!

It was a bad NBA game and strange as hell. First of all I thought our focus, energy and hustle were there. The offensive execution was the issue and a little bad luck(I counted at least three missed layups from Enes, Gordon and Derrick) was our problem for the first 3 quaters. Let's just call it christmas hangover and move on! The good thing moving forward was that we got our mojo back in the 4th. So we should be ready for the Clippers. So thank god for the Sixers after Xmas.
One thing about the game. I think Trey is trying to do what Dr.Q wants him to do. AKA push the ball in transition and that is cool! Really like it BUT how many times does he had a trailer and just refused to pass the ball? Annoying!

The first quarter was GREAT! Loved the Jazz defense.
But I'm just astounded that EVERYONE can be ice cold in the same game. Didn't matter who shot or which team it was, except for the inside games of Favors and Booker.

Jazz have historically sucked just after Christmas. It's just holiday hangover, and I think it's even tougher for the home team.

Probably. He is as bad as Trey Burke around the rim right now and he is missing games. Just get the surgery. Trade for Porter so we can give him big minutes to develop him.
