I can see it now, Kanter turns into a superstar and they let Durant walk and we miraculously sign him in free agency. Playoff conferences are finally eliminated and it's Thunder vs Jazz Game 7 of the finals in Utah. 3 seconds left and Westbrook gives it to Kanter and he does a Big Al post move over Gobert at the buzzer and they win the title.
