Say a Prayer for the Jazz before the Draft....

This is not a joke. God is definitely not concerned about basketball in general but the Jazz could use some good luck finding the best player possible. So do them a favor and put in a good word.

I've been praying for Ain't to die for over 2 years. I've given up hope that there is a God...

Basketball, in itself, is a simple game. However, it does have a big influence, nonetheless. I think the Jazz have been great at breaking stereotypes and opening doors for more conversation about religion, if nothing else. Plus, it has brought people here that might not otherwise have even considered it as an option, and subsequently, finding they love it here. Those same people have had a profound affect on this community and on a great many people around the world. I would think that God would be very aware of what happens in basketball.

Of course, it's like everything in life, moderation is the key. In other words, as long as the Jazz don't overtake God & family as the focus in your life, then really all your doing is praying for other people's success in life. Think of it as doing service to others. :)

I'm going to pray for the right player(s) to be chosen. Players who would most help and inspire our team, and our community, to dig deeper and try harder. Then, we can say with confidence: "With a little sacrifice and hard work, you too can achieve the same level of success as the Utah Jazz."

Go Jazz!!

Too many heathens in Salt Lake City for God to want to help the Utah Jazz. That's what he told me when I asked him to help the Jazz get the #1 pick.
