These past few seasons have just been so frustrating. IT just feels like the Jazz squandered the opportunities a Deron trade offered. We essentially traded Deron for a couple backup bigs and a piece that turned into the NBA bust that is Marvin Williams.
Do I think Favors and Kanter are better than back up big quality? Yes. But I'm pissed that the Jazz traded Deron for a couple of studs only to have them mismanaged by a ****ty head coach.
Seriously - Favors isn't good enough to play ahead of this crappy 2012-2013 version of Paul Millsap? Seriously? If you think Favors is better then Corbin should be fired for not playing him. Is the centerpiece of the Deron trade a guy who can't earn time ahead of a mediocre undersized PF?
But no. The Jazz will continue to play their young picks 15-20 minutes a night whilemediocre vets like Josh Howard, Raja Bell, Randy Foye, Mo Williams, Marvin Williams, Jamal Tinsley, and CJ Miles all play ahead of the Jazz's young picks and won't be on the team the next year.
KOC doesn't escape blame considering most of these wings/guards haven't sniffed the court after leaving the Jazz these past few seasons. I really hope there are some major changes this off season with a shift towards youth or going out and spending on a real star level vet.
