I was a little concerned with his dad being his agent. Sometimes that doesn't work out so well.

And when his Mom bombed the draft with the trade news, again I was concerned.

I am less concerned now.

I'm glad his father is in his life and is (apparently) close with him. I'd bet 75% of the head cases/un-coachable players in the league grew up without a father.
