Should BOLOMBOY get in the game?

Is BOLOMBOY our only hope to stop D.J.?

surrrrrrre am glad we didn't pick up someone like, say, Bogut. I mean it's just cool AF to be below the salary floor.

Yeah we forget Bolomboy is pretty undersized for a center even though he is bouncy. I think Jordan still dominates him on the glass, but idk, he might be worth a try over Withey. Withey just cant deal with Jordan's strength.

If we put in Bolomboy they will immediately start running CP3/DJ screen and rolls. They will destroy him.

I dont think Bolomboy would help us defensively at all in terms of protecting the rim. The thing I think he could do is help rebounding. But I'm not sure if he can deal with Jordan and I'm not sure I would trust him to matchup against Speights. It's just a super hard situation given how little we played him.

At least see if he can't do worse, and that's only if everyone else is getting worked. That's all I'm saying.

I'm just saying that is the pressure of the decision on Quin.

He can't do much worse than Favors/Withey did last game. I bet Favors knee(s) get worse as the series goes on. We can't use him 32 min. per game and Withey had nothing at all for DJ. Bolomboy probably won't either.

He definitely can. You can always do worse. He could foul a ton, give up open 3's, commit TO's, etc.

Favors is getting killed by DJ partially because Hill is getting owned by CP3 with the dribble penetration. Rudy is one of the few players ever EVER that can handle that. Hill has to do be better but QS needs to make sure that we have a similarly effective mismatch on the other end.

Yes Dumbass. Favors is a good damn defender that is being put in a near impossible situation.

Yes he is but DJ was 9-11 FG with 15 REB. Some of those were lobs from CP3 but other times Favors didn't have the quickness/lateral agility to hang with him. Favors is hobbled pretty severely... this isn't a normal DFaves... or maybe it is at this point.

That's kind of a ridiculous ask. What if he does do worse to the tune of giving up points and we lose by that margin?

I don't see the difference between him giving up a ton of points and Favors/Diaw giving up a ton of points. The score doesn't care who gives them up. There is a difference on the offensive end, so I'll amend it by saying that unless Favors or Diaw are putting up points I'd still like to see it if the Jazz are getting destroyed in the paint.

IMO Snyder should give Bolomboy a try. Nevertheless it is not probable that Bolomboy would be able to do much against Deandre Jordan due to his relative lack of bulk and size.

Wrong

All of Jordan's points, with Favors on the court, were because of dribble penetration forced Favors to help and Noone helped the helper. DJ got 1 or 2 that were individual as against Withey but nothing against Favs. BG had some solid plays against Favs but DJ did not. Hill was the one that really got owned on that end of the floor.
