If the Jazz trade for Nash just for the fact that Harris is a shot-first guard who apparently failed to mesh in the system of Jazz, and Nash is a great facilitator, past-first guard who can score when needed;
- they should be very confident that "horrible" or lemme say "non-existent" defense of Nash, who is 38, will not be a problem for them and they will somehow hide his defensive flaws with concerted effort.
- they are aiming at least a 2nd round in playoffs.
Devin sucked last night against Mavs, and he has not meet the expectations of many but he is a good defender and he really tries to play hard, commit himself to the team play, get used to the system. Like the guy but, as a fan who've seen Stock and Dwill run the point, I am having a hard time watching his PG play, too. However, I believe that at some point in this season, his effort to get comfortable and efficient in this system will pay off. The fact is he has never been a great facilitator or spot up shooter, but he is a way above average defender, good slasher, good at fast pace basketball, who actually fits very well in the 2nd unit of Jazz. You should not expect him to be the 2nd coming of No.12 .
