By nearly every measure if Mike only misses another 1-2 games and we keep winning he should be selected
You'd also stop hearing about how he disappears in the playoffs and only plays defense. Like magic it would disappear. If he moved to LA he would instantly be in the top 3 vote getters. Simply large market forces at work in the votes. That is why the votes are stupid.
Well if New Orleans is still a bottom-5 team in the West, that's a reason alone to not have Zion on the team.If it comes down to Conley or Zion guess who they pick?
He plays with a dudes who get boards. Lonzo and Hart are both very active rebounding guards, Ingram is long as hell, and Adams is there. NOLA is 2nd in rebounding percentage behind Utah, so I don't think he's lacking on that end.Well if New Orleans is still a bottom-5 team in the West, that's a reason alone to not have Zion on the team.
Also, I hate hype. I know Zion is good, but I still think he's one of the most overhyped players I've seen in the last ten years. Also, what's with his garbage rebounding numbers? Dude should be a rich-man's Charles Barkley.
Ingram has no chance of getting it because of ZIon. Zion is clearly more deserving and no team with a losing record is getting 2 all-stars in the West.Ingram deserves it, but I'd like Conley to get some kind of honorary spot, like when Dirk and Wade retired. Call it a wildcard
No doubt, but that's never stopped someone from getting into the All-Star Game.If you are fading Zion for anything it's defense.
You mean the guy that participated in - and WON - a ****ing H-O-R-S-E tournament? All Star games are showtime games
Every body trying to do the impossible they would not attempt in an actual game
Mike does not seem like that type of player
