Should the Jazz Punt Game 2?

I can't do it anymore. This thread....

Cy, you are so condescending and bag on anybody with an idea different than your own. This thread is absolutely trash like most of your digs at the innocent people around here. In no way, shape or form should our Jazz "punt" this game. And by punt, you meant "mail it in" or "not try" or simply just "lose." You are spinning a nice little web of BS, but I simply have to call you out on it like you ruthlessly try to do with so many around here on more minor infractions.

Had you said, "Should We Sit Mitchell", I could have defended your logic. But you didn't do that. This thread is trash and your back pedaling is even more so. For your pride's sake, you should ask to have this thread closed.

Yeah, you are a clown dude. You dont like me, cool. You are being ridiculous over semantics of an analogy for the sake of making digs at me. I'm sure all the great people of JFC who hate me appreciate your attempt.

Punting means taking a loss in game 2 to increase our chances in game 3.

That's what that means.

Not just NO, but **** NO!

DM sitting or not, Jazz don't "punt" in a series where they are behind.

You know what's worse than going down 0-2 and having your star healthy?

Being 1-1 and having Donovan out for the series.

It's a foot contusion, a bruise. It can be painful to play with, but it's not likely to cause a more serious injury. It has nothing to do with tendons, ligaments, joints, etc.

why would you punt a playoff game? If we don't win tomorrow the series is most likely over. Our guys fought all season for a chance at tomorrow's game. Obviously if mitchell can't play he can't play and his future health is most important but, you know, if he can--this is it.

Official NBA injury update for game 2:

Thunder: Paul George (hip contusion)

Jazz: Donovan Mitchell (toe contusion), Saint Cy of JFC (brain contusion)

------------

But seriously though, maybe a few of you did take it too literally. It's not an outrageous subject to talk about. I understood it as 'do we rest mitchell' not 'should we purposely lose'
