Slightly better draft pick is not worth sending Kobe off with a big middle finger from Utah.

Jazz need to beat the Lakers in this game. It makes me question peoples Jazz fandom if they want the Jazz to lose to the Lakers anytime especially in Kobes last game and with all the attention. Think of how many stupid Lakers fans are going to be at the game buying way over priced tickets and waaaaaayyyyyy overpriced Kobe gear just to watch him and the Lakers get embarrassed by the Jazz. It would almost make missing the playoffs worth it to me. It would also be good for the development of this team to have nothing to play for and show some heart and pride and come out swinging hard.

On a side note the Jazz were not set up to make the playoffs nor was that the goal this season. It would have been great and it would have shown that we have some real talent on this team. If we had a normal injury season we would have been a 5 seed and the optimism for this team would have been through the roof for next season. Yes we have issues to address in the off season. But this team was still in asset collection/tank mode with young players. The team was set up to put all the pressure on our young core players with no help from vets, the hope was to help the develop and still get a pick unless a star emerged. We didnt quite get a star but we know what a lot of our players are now and we can change our goal from asset collection to winning which is what next season will be about. Thats what the coaches, front office and players will be judged on next season but that was not what they were being judged on this season.

I think you've got to weigh up, is your "Love for the Jazz" greater than your "Hate for the Lakers"????

For me my love for the Jazz is greater... therefore I would rather get a better draft prospect that will stay with our team for years and years to come, than just worry about 1 last Kobe game which will be meaningless and people will forget about in the next 2-3 months.

1 or 2 picks higher has little to no chance of being a better player. Its a crap shoot whether that player will be decent or not. Look at Gobert and Hood or Lyles. They are going to be players that should have been taken higher than many players. Also Kobe will remember and many others including me will remember the Jazz beating Kobe in his final game for more than a month or two. Also playing to win is more important to players than draft picks and says more about where this team is going. If we wanted a higher draft pick we should have kept Favors, Hayward and Gobert out much longer this season to recover. When you Love your team you dont actively cheer for them to lose in a game that wont gain them anything. The pick position is not going to matter.

My love of the Jazz is watching them win especially against one player and a team that has crushed us time and time again. The very least we could do is get a final win so we arent remembered as the gum that got stuck to Kobe's shoe.

I vote yes. Gobert won't play. Favors shouldn't play. Hayward should t play. Hood shouldn't play. Let the bench play 40+, EVEN Burke.

hoping a team loses isn't the way you should enter the playoffs anyways. we had it in our grasp and let it slip away, time to move on.

Most of our guys are banged up anyway. If the game is meaningless they should be rested and this is not tanking. Even if we rested our key players I doubt we could lose this game as this is Kobe's last game and he will shoot 35 times to score 25 points and his teammates openly hate him or don't care so they'll play real bad as well. A lineup of Mack-Burks-Ingles-Lyles-Withey should beat Lakers. So good luck with getting L...

Our bench should go for 140pts and stomp on Kobe's rape nuts. Let's not risk Favors, Gobert or Hayward. Let's eviscerate Kobe with our scrubs.

**** no! Do not lose to LA on purpose. Kill them with our 2nd tier players and send Kobe out with a loss.

**** Kobe! He's the biggest little bitch that ever raped a hotel employee and also played some basketball.

Talk bout disrespectful
Kobe wasn't even charged with rape. I live in CO and know people that know her and she is a girl of the night.
You say kobe is a rapist even though he was never convicted but yet cheer on a KArl Malone who got a 13 year old pregnant..
And some of you wonder why the Jazz fans are consider classless.. Case in point one guy not even convicted or taken to trial and he is the bad guy but a FACT that Malone nocked up a 13 year old and he is a hero to yall

PS Kobe the better all time player too.

Honestly your mods need to ban GAMEFACE.. Those pictures are not for a family friendly site and also he never was charged. THi guy has made it his agenda in this whole thread.
Dear Jazz Mods? This is uncalled for in a family basketball board. Please deletes this guys post. Show you are better then this.

So girls with bad reputations can't be raped?

I listened to Kobe's response. It's his response to the allegations, the things he admitted to, that makes me think he sexually assaulted her, and that he has likely sexually assaulted numerous women. It's not her allegations that makes me think that, it's Kobe's own words. That's my opinion and I'll share it any time his name comes up because I don't think sexual predators should be celebrated.
