LOL! Delusional.

Secretary of State
2 term Senator of New York
8 years personal experience of knowing what goes down in the Oval Office (other than White House aides) as first lady.
organized Clinton Health Care plan (93)
Juris Doctor from Yale

Get over yourself... I don't even like Hillary.

Was there any indication that the conversations were unwelcome? Created an uncomfortable environment for someone? A product of his influence as a Representative? If not, do you actually know what sexual harrassment means?

You are right this wasn't sexual harrassment as defined by the law. But at least one of the women has claimed that he sent the pics to her repeatedly despite her being offended by them.

also making sexual advances towards a 17 year old is predatory.

With regards to the 08 elections, how many presidential candidates were mocked for wearing pantsuits, for where they shopped or for being 'emotional' or bringing out the 'claws' or 'down periodically'

So, Weiner is going to betray his wife, but do right by you as your representative? I won't do right by my own wife, but I will do right by you. Sure.

I am no choir boy but what kind of douche bag takes a picture of his junk and sends it to somebody? When did that become excusable behavior for somebody in such a high position of responsibility?

I've never equated infidelity to how someone performs their other duties. My mechanic has fixed my car perfectly for years now. I would not all of a sudden question his skills there if he sleeps around on his wife. And while I would probably never send pics of my wang to others, if the chick he sends it doesn't care I have no idea why I would.

I had not heard that. If that's true, then I agree that's over the line.

Or an 18-year-old, for that matter. In most states, it's not illegal, and you will find predatory behavior in any singles bar on any night.

Not too mention, there's no proof Weiner actually was in the same room with any of these women. We have a current Senator who acknowledged hiring prostitutes, and I'm supposed to be upset over sexting?

Candidaes have been mocked for many things over the years. I recall one had to withdraw in 1972 over being too emotional.

I'm not making a moral judgement here, but to a certain degree I think our society views cheating on one's spouse/partner in an intimate relationship as more "mainstream" behavior than the type of stuff Rep. Weiner has been doing. Wrong, yes, but in a more "comfortable" way - generally we wouldn't refer to someone having an affair as exhibiting bizarre behavior the way this is referred to as bizarre. Folks having simple "affairs" as a rule don't check themselves into rehab at undisclosed locations.

personally, I think if these had been old photos taken when he was single, or a couple of photos that he could say were sent as a joke and that was the end of it, I might view it differently but the pattern of his behavior here makes me think he probably should resign.

but if your mechanic's behavior started interfering with his ability to do his job, you probably would care. If it's taking twice as long and he says it's because he's having a hard time getting parts, but you find out that's not the case and that he's been taking time off to attend to "personal matters" you might reconsider.

That's sort of how I feel here, that not only is this a distraction, but it seems he won't be able to do his job and serve his constituents for an indefinite period of time.

As a fellow liberal this guy is an embarrassment.

He needs to step down now. He crossed a line, and got caught. I realize this probably happens a lot under the radar.
I don't know where the draw the line. Men cheating on their wives, drug abuse, power abuse, etc. This one just rubbed me
the wrong way. He should step down.
