Pacers cannot financially make that trade. I think they might consider it if they could get rid of Granger (which is impossible). I think public relations wise getting Hayward would be hugh for the Pacers since he is a hometown boy. He can play the SG positions.
Lance Stephenson is talented and has grow up a lot since he came in the league but he still is a knucklehead sometimes. I wouldn't do the trade for him. I think he might start thinking he is a star and start playing hero ball if he gets a big contract. Indy is the perfect place for him and he should take less money and stay in Indy.
While you can trade Hayward at the end of the year, I think the Jazz need to assess if he is going or staying like they did with DW and make a move before the trade deadline. Perhaps the Kings are tired of being in the lottery or find another team with a high pick this year and see if they are interested. I know it is difficult to do since he can just leave in FA but the team will have his Bird rights and they can offer him the best contract.
Personally, I want to keep him at the right price ($7-$9)million a year.
